A Karas Christmas!

Yea, for Jesus! We had such a wonderful day celebrating Him. I first woke up to these two early birds...one at 5:45 and one at 6:00.
Then this sweet little guy came downstairs at 6:45.
He went and woke Matt up and we read the story of Baby Jesus from their Rhyme Bible. Then we sang, "Happy Birthday!"
Then the boys were ready to open some presents. Athen was sooo excited to give Matt his gift and gave it to him before he even opened one of his. Maximo on the other hand was all about opening presents right away and had his stocking emptied before we even noticed. Athen picked out Matt's gift completely on his own. He wanted to get him a t-shirt and when I asked him if he wanted to put anything on it he said, "Yes of course." When I asked him what he chanted S-A-T-U-R-D-A-Y. Every Friday night Athen and Matt chant S-A-T-U-R-D-A-Y no work, no work, no work! Athen loves when Matt is home on the weekends so I thought it was a perfect gift too.
Then the Christmas chaos began. The boys got a lot of great things from all of the family, us and Santa.
Tytan was so sleepy from opening all the presents (or maybe from getting up at 5:45). He was ready for a nap early. Here is a sweet picture of Ty hanging out with Matt before napping.
After his nap we all went down to the beach. It was really overcast but perfect to burn off some of their energy from all of the candy.
Our Church didn't have a Christmas Day service but sent home a DVD instead. The boys were so excited to watch a "show." But not more than a minute into it they were in an all out wrestling match. We did go to the Christmas Eve service and here is a picture of the boys and me.
Although we didn't want to travel this year, we sure missed our families today. We hope you all had a wonderful Christmas Day and that God blessed you as much as He has blessed us.
