***This is my 3rd post tonight, so make sure you scroll down to read the other two. Here are some recent pictures of my Tytan! Tytan and his McQueen pajamas...To say the boys were excited is an understatement!
We had a really awesome birthday party for the boys! We rented out the local recreation center and had Athen's little sports Coach come and play fun games with the kids. After the games we ordered pizzas and had a "Ka-Chow" party! Both Athen and Maximo love Cars and are so excited for Cars2 to come out tomorrow. We had a great time celebrating Maximo's 2nd and Athen's 4th birthday! Here are some pictures from the party. The invitations! Ka-Chow
I am so behind with posting about my sweet Athen! I can't believe he is already four. It seems like yesterday when I was a complete mess bringing him home. Athen has turned into such a sweet and mature little guy. He is so smart and I am amazed at the things he learns and tells me about everyday. He is starting to sound out words and asks me all day how to spell everything. He sings a little song using every letter, "A says "ah," A says "ah," every letter makes a sound and a says "ah." He also makes up a lot of little songs all day and they are so cute. He LOVES to sing. He is also into Legos. He will play and build sets all day long. He makes garages for his cars, "unders" for his cars, and streets for his cars. Almost everything he plays has to do with cars. He can twist almost anything into being about cars. There are so many things I love about my little guy. I love that he still needs to cuddle at night before bed. I love that he calls Maximo his medium brother. I love that he absolutely adores Ty and kisses him all day. I love how sensitive he is and really thinks about the way others feel. I love that he still asks me to kiss him. I love that he will sit and do puzzles when I tell him he needs to be quiet. I love that when we sit down for dinner he will always be the first to pray. I love that he thinks Matt is the greatest person in the world. I love that when he doesn't know the words to songs he will make them up (and most of the time they are pretty good). I love that he adapts to new situations so quickly. I love that he is so friendly and makes new friends wherever we go. He is a one of a kind little boy and he might annoy me some days but I sure do love him and can't imagine my life without him!
I can't believe my little wild man is two! It seems like yesterday we were all in Ohio and my little buckeye was born. It's crazy how fast he has grown. Maximo is by far one of the funnest little boys I have been around. He is always dancing, clapping, smiling and charming anyone who is around him. If I am sad he will walk up to me and sweetly say, "Mama" and touch my face. He has such a sweet side. He is also a very sensitive little guy. If he gets scolded or put in timeout he cries, and it is not an angry cry but his feelings are hurt! On the other hand he is also an aggressive little guy. He is the instigator in most fights between Athen and him. He usually hits first or is the only one that hits and he won't stop until he makes contact. He is also a bit stubborn. We started potty training him about a week ago and he is doing really well, he put up a good fight in the beginning though. He has only had a few accidents the last couple of days. His little personality is so fun and I am enjoying seeing more and more of it. I just wish he could say a few more words! Here are some pictures of my sweet babe and his first two years of life!
