Here are some recent videos of the boys hanging out. They are starting to play more and more together and it is so very sweet. Although sometimes Athen gets a little bit too rough as you can see.
Athen has decided that he wants to name the baby Fuzzy. This use to be the nickname he used for Maximo. He told me that he will call Maximo, Max or Maximo for now on and the baby can have Fuzzy. Before bed tonight he even kissed my belly and said goodnight Fuzzy, I love you. I'm hoping he is not too disappointed when he realizes we aren't going to name him Fuzzy. He also is really into putting balls in his stomach and saying he has a baby in his belly. Athen is constantly saying funny things, today I overheard him talking to one of his cars and he said, "I've told you 100 times, I shouldn't have to tell you again." Hmm, makes me really think about my parenting :) I'm always impressed with everything he is learning. This week he told me all the days of the week and which days were the weekend. He almost knows all of his months, he just gets October, November and December mixed up. He's learning so much at school! I love his school and I am so sad he won't be able to go there next year. Maximo is trying sooo hard to talk. It's so sad but so sweet. He mumbles and tries to tell me stuff all the time. He is really into tattling on Athen and pointing at him when he's tattling. He absolutely loves to read. He is so excited about reading that he will bring a book to you, sit on your lap, let you read about 3/4 of the book, then he runs as fast as he can to get another book. He will follow me around all day with a book in his hand mumbling and pointing at the book. Most days we make it through every single book on their bookshelf atleast 2 times, sometimes 3 times. I have to remind myself how great it is that they both love to read.

It's a boy!
We had our ultrasound yesterday and found out we are having boy #3. I am so excited! It's funny because so many people had thought it was a little girl, but deep down I knew it was a boy and I had wanted another boy. They are just so sweet and wild as can be! I always imagined myself having all boys, really I imagined just two boys but God had different plans for us and I am so very thankful now. Athen is so excited and asks about the baby everyday. Maximo has no clue what is going on but is just excited about life. We are still trying to figure out names, and are open to suggestions! Hopefully this baby will have a name before he is born. Poor Maximo was baby boy Karas for quite some time after birth. To celebrate baby boy #3 we got blue cookies and the boys were oh so happy to eat them. Maximo would say Mmmmm after every bite and requested more and more cookies. Here are some pictures of them celebrating!

Here are some other pictures of them with crazy hair and well just being loving brothers!

My sneaky little guy!

Maximo is always climbing on everything! Today I found him in the dryer for the 10 seconds I came out of the laundry room to help Athen. He's such a stinker!
I had to include a sweet picture of me and my oldest :)

And lastly, my husband is participating in mustache March! The only facial hair one can wear in uniform is a mustache, so the guys use the month of March to grow one. I'm looking forward to the end of March!

I had another OB appointment today and they FINALLY scheduled my ultrasound. It will be next Tuesday at 8am. I can't wait!

Boys, boys, boys...
Here is a picture of the boys before church today :)

I can't believe that Maximo will be 17 months on the 15th. Time goes by so quickly. He is growing like crazy and is becoming more and more independent and opinionated. His hair just keeps getting more and more curls and he is just so darn cute. He still isn't saying too many words. However, he does say Uh-Oh, Mmmmm, Mama, and sometimes Da-Da. But for the most part he points, signs, cries or whines anytime he wants something. He is also a sneaky little guy. I find him on top of tables, chairs, furniture all the time. He LOVES to climb. Up until recently if he cried out in pain I immediately yelled at Athen, but as I watch them play more I realize he is just as guilty. He is constantly instigating any sort of wrestling and he will steal toys from Athen and run and throw them. Although he isn't innocent anymore he is still as sweet as ever. He loves to run back and forth giving kisses to Matt and me.

Athen is growing up so quickly. He is such a good kid. Sometimes I feel so guilty because out of habit I am always blaming him for anything that goes wrong between him and Maximo. He has become such a good listener and definitely understands that there are consequences for his actions. He is such a social little kid and I love this about him. Every single day he wants to go somewhere and play with his friends. He will go through his entire list of friends asking me what they are doing that day because he wants them to come over and play. He is on spring break this week and this will give us plenty of time for him to play with his friends.

Here is a picture of me at 20+ weeks. We still don't know what we are having. I have an appt Tuesday and they will be scheduling an ultrasound. I'm so excited! This pregnancy has been so much harder than my first two. I definitely havent been able to run as far as I could with the boys and my pace is so much slower. It's so humbling but I am thankful that I can still be so active. I am also so tired all the time. I pray everyday that the boys will nap at the same time so I can take a nap as well. Matt has been helping me more and more. I think he has been caught off guard because I didn't need his help as much in my first two pregnancies. Athen changes his mind everyday on whether he wants a brother or sister, I can't wait to be able to tell him what we are having!

We plan on having a great week here, the forecast is calling for 80's and one day in the 90's. Woohoo!
