Athen has been begging me for a pet! He will wake up a lot of mornings and ask me if we can get a pet today. So one Saturday he woke up and asked if we could get a pet and I agreed on a fish. So we all went to SuperPets and went straight past the kittens and puppies available for adoption, past the hamsters and gerbils, past the ferrets, even past the turtles to the fish! That took us about 30 minutes and we still
had to decide on a fish. The beta fish are the easiest to care for so we got a blue male beta fish (Daddy's favorite color). Athen named him Nemo Zane Karas and he goes by his middle name like all of us. Each morning the boys take turns feeding him and they take this job very seriously. We all love Zane and I am thankful that he satisfied Athen's desire for a pet.
