Home Sweet Home

This past week I went on vacation with some girlfriends from college. We had so much fun and I am so looking forward to moving to Florida to leave near the ocean again. It was just so beautiful, so relaxing, and just so much fun. However, I did get totally sunburnt while there. I am not sure I have ever burned that badly. I am just now starting to have a tan instead of redness. Matt had a great time with the boys. He took them everywhere. They went to a playplace in Lawton, they went to the zoo in OKC and he even stayed overnight in a hotel solo. I feel so lucky to have such an incredible husband that encouraged me to take a vacation, not to mention an awesome dad! I missed them all so much while I was away. And it gave me a little perspective on how Matt feels when he has to spend so much time away from the boys. And I think it gave Matt a little perspective on how it is handling the boys solo.
Here is a picture of my bump on the beach. I'm about 18 weeks. Notice the redness on my legs :)

Here are a few recent pictures of the boys!

Athen is growing up so quickly. He is loving school and brings home "super cool" (his words) pictures every week. His school sends home an Honorable Character sheet of 7 Bible verses. The verses are about doing what is right when no one is looking. Each week he usually does really well in working hard (Whatever you do, work at it with your heart. Col 3:3). This week was the first week he did well with obeying. However, he still hasn't received any reports on telling the truth. We are still working on this area. However, I do have to say he is getting much much better.
Maximo has turned into a complete toddler, tantrums and all. Athen has never been a tantrum thrower. Maximo on the other hand has quite the attitude. I have never seen anything like it. He is either super sweet or so angry/upset that he pinches, throws, screams and cries for atleast 2-3 minutes. Then turns around and is so sweet again. It is really pretty funny, but embarassing if you are out in public. I wish I still allowed him to have his pacifier outside of his crib, because seriously the tantrums are pretty intense.
I will take more pictures of the boys and post them soon.
