Daddy's home!

We are all soooo excited that Matt is home. Athen wanted to throw him a party and make him another "Old Big Window" cake. (For Matt's birthday we made him a cake of his old truck and Athen helped me decorate/icing it. Here is a picture of it.)

Since Matt has been home Athen won't leave his side and Maximo won't take his eyes off of him. It's so sweet. There has been a lot of wrestling and car playing. The boys are so happy to have him home. Matt finished up his time in Alabama on Friday and made it home on Saturday. We met him in Wichita Falls Texas on Saturday and did some shopping and ate some good food. Also, I'm so proud of him! He finished up SOS as a DG (distinguished graduate). This is such a great accomplishment, it means that he was in the top 10% of his class.
Also, since Matt has been home I have been doing a lot of crafting! Here are some pictures of some hats I made for the boys. Athen's has a Corvette sign on the side. The picture is a bit blurry.

There is a big storm coming again tonight. I'm hoping there is a snowday tomorrow for Matt. It would be nice to have him home. However, I don't want it to be too snowy because we plan on going to Oklahoma City tomorrow night. Maximo has eye surgery on Thursday morning at 7:00am. I'm so nervous for his appointment but I'm looking forward to getting it over with. So if you get a chance please say a little prayer for him. Hope you are all staying warm and having a great week.
