Love being a Mom, but...

I absolutely love being a mom. Is there really a better job? I mean I have two boys that showoff all day for me, who tell me they love me and I get slobbery wet kisses... I love those boys with a fierceness I never knew existed. They are my favorite little people in the world. However, there are a few things I would change about the toddler years...
- I never knew that I needed an audience when I used the bathroom. I cant tell you the last time I closed the door without a knock or the door opening just to say hello I guess. Maybe they think I need help, but I remind them that I really don't. This also goes for the shower. I would give anything for a shower without seeing little hands pressed on the glass door.
- I would require a 9am wakeup time on the weekends... During the week I would prefer a 7 wakeup so I didnt have to wake them up for school.
- I also wish they automatically knew how to throw up in a toilet or garbage can. There is nothing more disgusting than cleaning up real puke. I can do the dirtiest diaper, snotty noses, but puke is another story.
- I wish they also just woke up one day and transitioned from the 2 naps to 1 nap automatically. I would honestly rather potty train then deal with the nap dilemma.
- Lastly, I would spend more time enjoying how much fun they really are! I focus way too much on how much work they are and lose sight of how extremely fun, sweet, and adorable these years are!
Matt gets home in a few days and I will upload some pictures and update the blog with more photos!
