4 weeks old :)

It has been so long since I posted! I can't believe little Tytan is 4 weeks old today, where does time go? I have to say he is a fussy little guy but I love him to pieces. He is so sweet and has blessed our whole family! He is one popular little guy. He had so many visitors in his first few weeks of life. Nana came to visit, then Pappy joined her a few weeks later. After Nana left it was just the 5 of us for a day then Grandma and Grandpa came. We had a wonderful visit with them. ANd then Aunt Brooke and Breigh came to visit. It was so wonderful having so many extra hands around to help with the boys. I think everyone misses all of our visitors :)

The boys are adjusting well to Tytan. Athen can't get enough of him. He loves him so much and always wants to hold him, "pet" him, kiss him, and help me do everything with him. We are learning a lot about personal space. He gets a little too close to Ty and is always in his face. We have had to establish a few rules, he can never touch him when he is sleeping and when he is eating. This is so very hard for Athen, because he just can't keep his hand off of him. I am very thankful though that he loves him so much. All the attention Ty needs has made Athen act out in other ways though. He takes out a lot of his frustration on Maximo. I would say poor guy but Maximo is a retaliator (and instigaor) and although he doesn't hurt Athen yet he will soon enough. Maximo also loves Ty so much!!! Today I let Ty have "tummy time" on Maximo's belly and he couldn't get enough of it. I didn't get a picture of it because I couldn't get up to get the camera for fear of what could happen :) We are working on using our "inside voice" with Maximo. The little guy has two volumes silent or loud. He doesn't know how to "talk" in a normal voice. I say "talk" because we are still working with him to get him to say more. He still loves to sign but has very few words.
We are so thankful for our sweet little Ty and I am so thankful the boys have adjusted so well to him. I can't beleive I survived my first week home alone with them. I so look forward to 5 o'clock when Matt comes home from work and there are some extra hands around :). I have to say we are getting into a rhythm. Athen's school days are hard for us to get out the door but I haven't been late yet :) I love school days because it gives me time in the morning to spend with Maximo. Ty usually sleeps so Maximo and I can read and play. Once we pick Athen up from school Maximo takes a nap and then I get time with Athen to play. Although one day this week the stars aligned and Athen took a nap in the afternoon. It was a sweet success to have all 3 boys napping and I of course joined them.
Here are a few pictures of all 3 of them!
A sweet moment of them sleeping :)

Thomas Tytan Karas

Welcome my sweet baby boy Tytan. He is just so perfect! He was born on 24 July at 3:30 and weighed 7lbs 9oz and was 19 1/2 inches long. His entrance into this world was quite eventful! He came a little earlier than we had expected. On Sunday at 12:30 I woke up and my water had broken. Unfortunately, neither Matt nor I had a working phone so figuring out what to do was a bit difficult. Luckily Matt had the on-call phone from work so we were able to call the doctor and he told me to come into the hospital. Living here less than 5 weeks we had luckily made one good friend that we knew could help us out, however we didn't want to call her at 1am asking her to come watch the boys. We also didn't want to wake the boys up to bring them with us so I drove myself to the hospital. I also had to use the GPS because I had never been to the hospital and I wasn't sure exactly where I was going! I got to the hospital around 2am and was admitted. I wasn't dilated really at all so it was a bit of a waiting game. The doctor came in at 7am and started pitocin. Matt finally made it into the hospital around 10am and our friend M watched the boys for us all day. A little after 3 I realized I was ready to push and they called the doctor. Little Tytan came around 3:30. And we were feel so blessed to add him to our family. Below are pictures of him, his arrival, and meeting his big brothers :)

The Boys and My Belly

The boys are into kissing my belly. Maximo is more into raspberries but they both are always lifting up my shirt to look at my belly. I finally had Matt take a few pictures of them in action.
The other night we let the boys watch Rataouille and they both lounged out on the couch with their milk and cereal and we didn't hear a peep from them...

Here is a shot of Maximo's little bottom and his tan line. I am constantly putting sunscreen on them but they still seem to get some sun!

Here is a video of them!

I was 39 weeks yesterday! My mom comes on Monday and I am being induced Tuesday. I am so excited and thankful my mom will be here for the boys and both Matt and I can go in for the arrival of#3!

My view

Here is what I see when I try to look at my feet these days :)

38+ weeks :)

Not busy, just tired...

I would love to say that we have been so busy that I haven't been blogging, but the real reason is I have been so tired. These boys have been keeping me busy. Last week we watched the shuttle launch and it was really awesome that the boys got to see such a cool part of history, but the clouds made it so hard to see. We only got to see it for a few seconds. Here are a few pictures of the hour or so wait we had before the launch.

We also went to the zoo this week and had a great time! It was really too hot for me to enjoy but the boys had a great time. Of course they both wore their hats. I bought both of them Nike hats a few weeks ago and they wear them everywhere we go. I only got two pictures of them there. The zoo was pretty small but it had several exhibits where you could feed the animals. This is Athen and his friend feeding a deer. At the end of the zoo is a splash pool area that was awesome for the boys. They loved it and of course I didn't take one picture of it.

Lastly, we went to a Farmer's Market this week and Athen got a pair of Mater teeth that were attached to a sucker! They are so funny. Here he is modeling them :)

Only 13 more days until my due date and I can't wait. I am so nervous for 3 little ones, but chasing these boys around with this big belly is no easy task. I get out of breathe putting their shoes on before we leave. My mom comes on the 26th and I am hoping this little guy waits on her to get her.

The Beach and Football

There is sooo much to do here, I don't even know what to do about it. We have definitely enjoyed the beach. Here are the boys and me 36 weeks enjoying the fun and sun!

This week we signed Athen up for a football camp. It is every Friday and he LOVES it. Here are two cute videos of him at camp. I love that he called the cones, "cozy cones" from the Cars movie.

Also here is a picture of the awesome coloring book from Athen's friends in Oklahoma!

This is the outside of our place :)

This weekend we plan to get the house completely unpacked and everything in it's place. I will post pictures as soon as we get it all put together! I will be excited not to be living amongst boxes :)
